Did you know that more than 80% of today's freshwater anglers took up fishing as children?
It's true - and it proves that if a boy or girl isn't introduced to fishing by the time he or she is 13, the chances are good that they will never take up the sport. Kids need adults to be introduced them to fishing at an early age - which helps them become kind, caring adults. After all, they imitate the adults they love and respect!

The Kiddies Fishing program keeps the fish stocked all summer, with at least 300 fish for the kids. |
And that is where you enter the picture. Since Jack Wynkoop and Jim Conti have founded the Kiddies Fishing Program, along with the help of John Zavacky, you have fulfilled their dreams by donating to the program that helps us keep the pond stocked from the first day of trout season through the last day of August.
Those who donate $25 or more get a chance to win a quilt made by Deb, Jack's daughter, and we post their names on the list of supporters at the Kiddies Pond and Handicapped Pond area. But we accept any amount you can offer.
Finally, we'd like to thank the wonderful volunteers who get the fish and stock the pond each week. With all of us working together, we're helping Jim and Jack keep their dream fulfilled!
