The park's cool swimming pool sure is a popular place during the summer season!

Recently, construction was completed on the pool’s showerhouse and the entrance road and parking lots were paved and graveled.  The new building is equipped with restrooms, rinse showers, changing areas, and a first aid/lifeguard station.  An expanded snack area includes vending machines and shaded tables and chairs.

Depths range from 2.5 feet to 5 feet, and a circular wading pool for children is located adjacent to the large pool. Pool hours are 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Certified lifeguards are on duty when the pool is open.

For a little more adventure, head to the Clarion River. At dozens of points along River Road you'll find plenty of choice swimming holes.

Note, however, that the river itself is not guarded, so swim in groups and keep an eye out for each other. Also, check with the Park ahead of time to ensure that the water levels and current strengths are suitable for swimming.
