Bring a sturdy river-walking stick. Proper river footwear is a must. We will car-pool up-river to potential sites. Hellbenders have been confirmed below the Piney Dam, but none have been scientifically verified this far upstream. Finding one would be a monumentous occasion giving more credence to the increased health and water quality of the National Wild & Scenic Clarion River. | |
